What is a cookie?

What does this website currently use?

The current Angela Zarrabi Legal Services theme does not intentionally set analytics, advertising, behavioural-tracking or social-media marketing cookies.

WordPress, the website host or security services may use cookies or similar technologies that are strictly necessary for functions such as website security, administration or session management. Strictly necessary technologies do not require consent where the legal exemption applies, but we still aim to explain their use clearly.

The website contact form does not use a marketing or analytics cookie. It uses a WordPress security token to help protect the form against misuse.

Google Fonts

The website currently loads the Cormorant and Inter typefaces using Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the relevant font stylesheet and font files from Google’s servers. This is a third-party network request and may involve technical information such as your IP address and browser information. We do not use Google Fonts to track your browsing behaviour or to serve advertising.

Why there is no cookie consent banner at present

Based on the current theme, there are no intentionally deployed non-essential analytics or marketing cookies that require a consent choice before they are set. For that reason, the site does not need a consent banner solely because of this theme.

If non-essential technologies are added in future — for example Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising tools, behavioural tracking, embedded services that set non-essential cookies, or similar technologies — the website will need to be reassessed and, where required, those technologies will be blocked until the visitor has made an appropriate consent choice.

You can use your browser settings to view, delete or block cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect the operation of some websites or administrative functions.
